Collage Beer Pong Party Theme

You have been to some of the craziest parties at your collage as most of us have. Most of us have even gone to a collage because of its night life and party status. Just drop a hat and there you are, at a party for some reason. It can be a holiday, a birthday, even if it is made up, or the end of a semester. Who cared, it was just part of the collage scene! Here is a party waiting to happen that’s both collage and work -BEER- who can not drink beer!

You don’t need a reason to drink beer but it is a good reason to have a party. The hardest thing is to find the beer cheap, real cheap. If you are lucky you may know a party store owner or a bartender or someone that knows one and can get the beer for you.

The party should have food there and the best way to get that is to have the people that you invite to bring something with them to eat. All you have to do is suggest what they bring if you know that one of them makes a great finger food then ask them to make something up. You will always have someone that can bring chips and pretzels. All you have to do is figure on how fancy you want the party to be.

Now is the entertainment. You will have to get out the beer pong table. What kind of a BEER PARTY will it be if you do not get the beer pong tables out to play. Then there are the darts, for the guest to play while they are waiting to get into the beer pong game or beer pong tournament.

There are a lot of things that you can do for a beer party theme. It is just what you want to make of it. Have some fun planning it so that you know that your guest are going to have the best of fun!

Beer Pong Slam Dunks

These are some crazy ass slam dunks that have been put into a video, you have to watch these! It is just to crazy on how they are slam dunking on the beer pong tables. I know that they have destroyed some of the beer pong tables but I am sure it was all in fun!

WHICH DUNK IS YOUR FAVORITE?I have seen all kinds of beer pong trick shot videos, and how to play beer pong videos as well as videos talking about beer pong rules. However the most exciting beer pong videos, that is way overlooked, is the beer pong dunk group. The bottom line is that Beer Pong Dunkers have been overlooked by Beer Pong video makers.

Here you can find a bunch of drunken beer pong players doing their best to try and jump over an 8′ beer pong table and try to make their slam dunk shot! Now this is some good stuff!

I salute you you hard core beer pong players that just have to go to the extreme of the beer pong play.

Drinking Game; Beer Pong

You can find on any Friday or Saturday night at any Collage campus around the nation collage  students meet up to play one of the greatest drinking games, Beer Pong! This is a fairly easy game to learn and play.

Though it is easy for collage students, or anyone, to pick up and learn this game  it is hard to master the game of beer pong. If and and after you have mastered the game of beer pong you will be the talk of the party.

We have all heard of the adage “easy to learn; hard to master” beer pong follows that saying. Anyone can play the game it is easy that is why it is a hit at all of the collages, but they do have to learn the shooting skills which is an asset to winning the game. Another skill of the game is to learn how to taunt the other team, this is always a big part of having a great game.

If you are just starting to play that game or are a master beer pong player then you know that there are house rules to play by other then the typical rules of beer pong. So, learn the house rules where you are playing and you may want to see if the house would like to add some of your own rules to make the game more interesting for the house.

Always drink responsibly and do not drink and drive! Pong On!

Beer Pong Tips

Beer pong is a more complicated and challenging game than most people imagine, but it is easy to become a good player once you follow a few simple beer pong tips.

One tip is to coordinate some ” rapid fire” shots. The defending team is required to take a cup away when the ball lands in it. If the apposing team does not remove the “hit” cup soon enough then the shooting team has the opportunity to land the second ball into the cup. If they land their second shot into the same cup, according to most players’ rules, they automatically win the game and the opposing team must drink the remaining cups.

Another tip is to use the bounce shot. Usually, beer pong rules allow defenders to deflect the balls after they have made contact with the table, cups or other parts of the table. If the consumption of beer has done it’s job and has become a distraction then it would be advised to hurry the second shot while the defenders are chasing the first ball that was tossed. If the bounce shot is successful then the defenders have to remove two cups and drink the beer.

The effects of beer can become useful to you and may become an distraction to them. There are other tips of distraction that can work for you like jumping up and down and shouting or having someone dress provocatively and walk into their line of site. All of these tips are all available to the game of beer pong.

The “elbow rule” says that the shooters elbow must stay behind an imaginary line extending upwards from the end of the shooters table at all times through out the throwing motion.

This rule is highly controversial, in fact most large scale beer pong tournaments have all but dismissed the rule all together, due to the fact that it is incredibly difficult to enforce the rule effectively. That being said you will still find many supporters on both the pro-elbow rule and anti-elbow rule sides of the debate.

Pros:

It eliminates the advantage of taller/longer- armed players that could gain by leaning in on their shots over the table.

It makes the game more interesting.

Cons:

Elbow rule is almost impossible to enforce.

Watching your elbow distracts the player from the game when it is called. Players will argue the call.

In most sports body types mean a lot especially if you are talking about the NBA. The height advantage can ether win the game or lose the game. The can be said that the same goes on in the NFL. These same factors apply to beer pong. It’s all about skills and abilities in the most effective way possible within the rules of the game.

In beer pong , a long reach and excellent hand-eye coordination could be your advantage. If you are playing with in the house rules, then we say go for it!

I don’t think that murder is in the book of beer pong rules. That did not stop Joseph Jimenez, a 24 year old, who shot and killed Scott Riley also 24 years old, after a beer pong game in Bridgeport, PA. The two were apparently arguing over the outcome of the game and Jimenez took it upon himself to stop the conversation by shooting Riley through the neck.

We all understand house rules but none of them should include firearms and murderous activities of any kind. On called for! We do not condone these actions but we thought that we could not go without a crack – we are glad that this should be the last beer pong shot that Jimenez takes in a long time.

Poohba is Back

The Poohba and my wife T and friends, had a great time on Hilton Head Island. We got to golf the courses there most every day. There are some really great courses there that we did not have time to play but we will be down there again. It is an awsome place to go to.

We golfed on the morning and drank beer and cocktails at the pool in the afternoon. Had to walk the beach and go to the tiki bars, can not do that! We also had to go to Frost Frogs and close the place this is a most every year we go.

Can not say enough about the Island and the good time we have every year there with friends that go down to their condos and the friends that go with us. But lets talk Beer Pong!

I have a set of house rules that we use every now and again, these may help with your rules for the house! Take a look.

1. Any person that makes a ball into a cup equals one cup. (Obvious!)

2. If and when the opposing team makes a cup the ball must be removed from the made cup.

3. Two partners that shoot into the same cup on the same turn equals three cups and balls back…

4. A two cup shot and then a regular shot in the same cup equals four cups.

5. When one player makes two cups in joined turns they must call “heating up,” if and when they make the next and third shot in a row they must call, “on fire,” which then allows them to shoot until they miss.

6. An intentional bounce off the table equals two cups.

7. Any player that releases the ball with his/her elbow over the end of the table can receive two verbal warnings before that player can be called for ‘leaning’. Any shots made with the elbow over the end of the table after having received two verbal warnings are void!

8. Any shot off of an adjacent wall is considered a ‘trick shot’ and is considered a blockable shot by another ball in an opponent’s hand. A wall shot is two cups!!!

9. Any wall shot that strikes an opponent’s hand or arm equals a re-shot.

10. Lots of rules to follow!!!
