Home Bars and Accessorize

There are more home bars popping up all over the place with the non-smoking in bars is in place. If you own one and or looking to put a home bar in for entertaining friends and neighbors you may be want to get a few tips for accessorizing your bar. In addition to spirits and alcohol you will need to glassware, decorative items along with other functional accessories.  Here are some ideas to get you started.

Glassware

The well-stocked bar will have the right amount of glassware to entertain with, along with the right type of glasses for making most any drink imaginable. But what glasses are you going to need? The amount of glasses will depend on the amount of room that you have for storing your glasses.

Stem glasses such as wine and margarita glasses can be hung from glass ware racks to maximize your space and allow you to display them for looks. Stem-less glasses such as beer mugs, shooters, tumblers, beer glasses and more. these are usually set on rubber mats to prevent slipping.

Accessories

There are many things that you can use to accessorize your home bar. But first you need to come up with a theme. You will want to stick with one theme and see it through till the end. Such as a Harley Davidson theme. There are many others you can choose from. You can find art work hanging wall clocks some with neon rims around them that will help with lighting. you can even go with a wall paper or paneling.

This is the great thing about having your own home bar, is that it can be decorated and set up by you. Use a theme and go for it!

Summer Margaritas

Summer is here, for the next few months, and one of the most fun things that we like to do at our house is to have Margaritas outside with friends and family. When you have a get together like this, its important to think ahead on what margarita glassware to use.

Most people would use just any glassware without thinking on how it looks but to add a bit of fun to the party we suggest to actually use real margarita glasses. There are many styles and colors that you can find and use but you need to think of how you want to present the colors of the glassware to your surroundings. We have a patio that has tans and reds to it so we went with reds, greens and yellows for our margarita glassware!

Enjoy the summer months with a few friends and family and serve them some cool margaritas to get the party started.

Time For a Drink

An  impressive view or fantastic feeling on an event calls for a cocktail or a cocktail from a fantastic glass! The glass gives the bar or home bar a sophisticated atmosphere and a nice way to serve it. This glass is thought to give you a feeling of being at the top of the Empire State Building,  itself – a tall structure reaching  for the clouds and taking you up with it, making the view unbelievable. That is why the top of the glass is larger because you should get the same feeling when you are by the window watching out to the world in front of you. The stems and or support-beams are to resemble the cross-going beams on the outside of the building. The glass is of a dark hue, but is still clear enough to let the drink itself  color the glass.

I will call it the – “Sky of Light”. What it will contain is that of what the Bartender prefers to use. So one – yes, you, can set up in the bar and text your friends or checking your E-mail while – at the same time – having your evening cocktail!
